Hi, I am Adam Frank
I'm a Pensacola-based photographer working in contemporary glamour and fashion. If you've landed here, chances are you've already scrolled through a gallery or two, so I'll skip the résumé talk and get to what actually matters: how I work, and what you can expect when you book a session.
My style sits under contemporary glamour and fashion: flattering light, intentional styling, and editing that's precise but still looks like you. What makes an image flirty or devilish isn't the wardrobe, it's the pose. The same sundress can read as casual and sweet or bold and confident depending on how it's worn in the moment (a tilt of the hip, the way a hem lifts, where the eyes go). The clothing sets the stage; the energy and posing are what actually define the shot.
I shoot primarily with natural light. There's a rawness and honesty to it that studio strobes can't fake. It flatters real skin, real bodies, real moments, without flattening them into something manufactured. If a look calls for shade, window light, golden hour, or open shade on a porch, that's where we'll be. If I need to bring in artificial light, reflectors, or a speedlight flash, that's what I'll have.

What a Session Feels Like
Most people walk in a little nervous and walk out surprised at how easy it was. That's the goal. I direct every pose (where your weight sits, where your chin goes, what your hands are doing), so you're not left guessing what to do with your body in front of a camera. You don't need experience. You don't need to already know how to pose. You just need to show up.
Sessions are one-on-one. No crew, no audience, no distractions. Just you, me, and the camera, working through looks at whatever pace keeps you comfortable. You're in control the entire time: wardrobe, pace, breaks, boundaries. If something doesn't feel right, we adjust or skip it. That's non-negotiable.
Why I Shoot This Way
I got into this style of portrait work because I kept noticing the same thing as a boudoir photographer for the past 5 years: women would come in stiff, self-conscious, apologizing for their bodies before we'd even taken a shot. And then, somewhere around the third or fourth pose, something would shift. The shoulders would drop, the real smile would show up, and the photos would start looking like them, just the most confident version. That shift is the actual purpose. The images are just proof it happened.
Based in Pensacola
I work primarily around Pensacola and the surrounding Gulf Coast area, shooting on-location for most sessions — private residences, scenic outdoor spots, and rental properties that offer the kind of natural light and privacy this style of work benefits from.
